RAFA, The Royal Air Forces Association, is a membership organisation and registered charity that provides welfare support to the RAF family.

The Northern region of RAFA, covers a geographical area running from North Wales and Hull (on the East coast) up to the Scottish border, this incorporates 75 RAFA branches, 31 clubs, 5 RAF Stations and 95 ATC Squadrons.

This Northern region of RAFA has a busy show season planned in 2014. With attendance at 36 shows between April and September across Northern England, a decision was taken to invest in a new exhibition/event trailer.

In March 2014, RAFA purchased a 4.2 metre Colorado trailer from Tow Master. The decision to use Tow Master was based on locality and reputation, as well as seeing Tow Master trailers out on the road at other events and shows. Pete Hudson explains, “When you start asking around & look at trailers arriving at shows, Tow Master crop up time and time again. They have a very good reputation and previous customers frequently speak highly of them.”

Pete continues, “The whole purchasing process was painless. Every aspect of buying our exhibition trailer from Tow Master was handled brilliantly. From initial enquiry, meeting and quotation, through to delivery, hand over and demonstration of the completed product, everything ran really smoothly.”

“Once I had placed our initial order, we held a couple of meetings to finalise interior design and finish. I received updates with photographs during the build and to summarise my experience of dealing with Tow Master, they’re a very professional company.”

In terms of the impact the 4.2 metre Colorado trailer has had on the image of RAFA, Pete is quick to point out, “The biggest positive is the ease of operation and set up, particularly as some of our members are elderly. It will also improve on duty of care during inclement weather.”
